Do you remember that I told you about Alexa? Well today is the day that I finally going to meet her. We made an appointment to meet each other at the lake next to my village. I went to the lake with Angelo and was waiting for Alexa to arrive. Finally after a few minutes waiting, she joined us at the lake where we had a beautiful view over the water and on the mountains that are lying behind it.
After a small chit chat, we started to talk about business. I told Alexa that the lake would be perfect if she wanted to do something in the holiday sector. She liked that idea very much, she wanted to rent out small fishing boats on the lake.
“Do you own this lake” she asked.
“No not yet but I am working on it” I knew it would be difficult to buy the lake from Jack after our last meeting but I was still going to try to get it, one way or the other. Then I would sell the lake to Alexa and make some good profit out of it.
“Who owns the lake now?” Alexa asked. I didn’t want her to know it was Jack so I told her “Oh a man with the nick name the Copy-Man, right Angelo.” But then Angelo messed it up by saying “Yes boss, Jack Goldman”. Now Alexa knew who was the owner and because she was a tough business lady herself, the chance would be pretty big that she would try to buy the lake from Jack herself without me.
At the same time, Martin was sitting in front of his house petting his rabbit. Martin loved his rabbit very much. almost everywhere he went, he took that rabbit, with the name Bunny, with him. As you know, Martin also loved to fish and because his illegal fishing was the main reason of the trouble between me and Jack, he decided to give Jack Goldman a telephone call. Martin apologized to Jack for fishing in his lake. But then Martin got a brilliant idea, “why don’t I buy this lake from Jack, then all the problems are over and I can fish everyday as much as I would like”. So Martin made Jack an offer to buy the lake from him. Jack knew that Martin wanted to have the lake so he could fish everyday, but he also knew that there weren’t many fishes left in the lake, so he thought ” I better sell it to this Flamingo Boy, then I can still make some profit out of this useless lake and get my revenge on the Flamingo Family.” So Jack accepted Martin’s offer.
I, of course, had no idea of all this, and Martin who likes to do things behind my back didn’t tell me this either. But I would find it out soon enough.
Next day, after Martin bought the lake from Jack, Martin went fishing together with his rabbit, Bunny.
After 3 hours of fishing and with out catching anything, he said: “Stupid lake Bunny, I should have never bought this from Jack. There are almost no fishes left in this lake.”
At that moment 2 men where walking by and heard Martin talking. When they approached Martin, he recognized them, these guys where the local gangster of Chiang Mai, Rocky and Rambo. You remember,the same guys Martin shot in his ass before when he was hunting with my brother Bill. Martin tried not to panic because he wasn’t sure if they knew and why they were approaching him.
“Hello Sir” said Rocky, “I heard you talking, is this your lake?”
“Yes it is.”
Rocky told Martin that he was interested in the lake, and that he wanted to buy it. Martin was very relieved that they weren’t coming to take revenge after the shooting accident and at the same time that he could sell the lake just as fast as that he had bought it. So Martin made the deal with Rocky and from that moment Rocky was the new owner of the lake next to my village.
I, again didn’t had a clue about all this and was still thinking that Jack Goldman was the owner.
