The next day I was riding my motorcycle together with Martin and Angelo. After a very exciting and fast ride we came back at my office in Mae Rim. “Hey Angelo, that was a nice ride, we should do this more often” I said. Angelo agreed with me and told me “Why don’t you make a business in motorbike tours.” I liked that idea a lot and told Angelo that I would think about it.
Later that day when I was sitting in my office together with my lovely secretaries, my son Martin and my bodyguard Angelo, Martin was on the telephone, when he hung up I asked him who he was talking to. He told me it as Mr.Goldman and that he wanted to do business with us and he was coming over to talk today.
Angelo was listening to this and told me to be careful with Mr. Goldman “people call him the Copy-Man” he said. But I didn’t see any danger in meeting him, after hearing a lot of stories about Mr. Goldman, I actually was rather curious about him, I wanted to meet this man.
When me and Angelo were talking like this, suddenly a very beautiful young lady walked into my office. “Sawadee Kah (Hello)” she said. Immediately she draw my attention because I don’t have ladies like this walking into my office every day.
“Sawadee kap (Hello). Hey what’s your name” I asked her. But then she shattered my fantasy by saying “I am fine thank you” from that moment I knew that she might look beautiful but she wasn’t very smart. “Good English, Angelo” I said. Angelo was smiling and Martin was laughing his head off.
At that moment a big man dressed in a grey Italian suit was walking into the office. From the looks on his face, he wasn’t very happy. The man was waving with some papers in his hand and started to talk. “Mr. Flamingo, this paper shows that Nancy and I own the lake next to your village”
From that moment I knew who was standing in front of me. Mr. Jack Goldman.
Jack continued “Nancy and I are very upset, YOUR SON is killing the fishes in OUR LAKE.” “Yes” said Nancy “and he is selling these nice fishes at he market too.”
Because of the way Nancy was talking in her broken English with her strong Thai accent, Martin started to laugh again which made Jack even more angry.
I tried to calm down Jack but he wasn’t listening to me, he was just here to pick a fight.
“I want him to pay for the fishes, if he doesn’t pay for the fishes, I AM GOING TO RUIN YOU.” He shouted.
I wasn’t impressed at all by this wannabe business man so I told him ” Make my day Jack.” and I gave Angelo a signal to escort this crazy couple out of my office.
What I didn’t know at that moment was that my lovely girlfriend, Brigitte, was listening outside at the door and that she liked it a lot that I was having a fight with Jack Goldman.
Like I told you before, Brigitte is always very jealous and suspicious about everything I do, and she wanted to take revenge on me for all the things, she thought, I had done to her.
